Countertop Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience repairing and maintaining stone countertops and a strong background in construction-related work. This role involves working on-site to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Job Summary

This position requires hands-on fieldwork across multiple projects, ensuring repairs and installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Typical hours are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service while respecting customer property.
• Evaluate countertops during on-site visits and perform finish work as needed.
• Analyze, document, and communicate findings with the Regional Product Representative.
• Operate power tools such as hand polishers, saws, angle grinders, and lifting equipment.
• Perform repairs on natural and manufactured stone (chips, seams, scratches, etc.).
• Fabricate and install small pieces in the field, including splashes and trim work.
• Install drop-in and undermount sinks on-site.
• Clean and reseal countertops in the field.
• Maintain tools and supplies in good working condition.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience as a countertop service technician or similar field role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working with team members and clients.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and drive for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of software applications used in the field.
